Japanese Bilingual Bookkeeping Specialist

Advantage Technical is seeking a highly skilled Japanese Bilingual Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional bookkeeping and accounting services to our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with clients to maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Establish accounting policies and procedures with clients to fit each client's unique needs.
- Set up and configure QuickBooks Online for new clients, including creating and mapping the chart of accounts.
- Provide basic trainings for clients on how to use QuickBooks and answer their related inquiries.
- Obtain accurate and timely accounting data from assigned clients, ensuring accurate financial records and meeting monthly closing deadlines consistently.
- Review clients' month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and client ledgers for seamless record-keeping.
- Generate various financial reports for clients, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, general ledgers, trial balances, and aging reports.
- Safeguard client compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Advise clients on accounting inquiries and provide guidance on using QuickBooks and other relevant accounting systems.
- Assist clients with financial activities like payroll recording and invoice generation.
- Bilingual Japanese and English skills (Japanese: reading, writing, and speaking).
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in bookkeeping for corporate clients at a consulting, accounting, or outsourcing firm.
- Prior experience with QuickBooks Online.
