About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Retention Specialist to join our team at Allied Universal. As a critical member of our regional business sales and operations team, you will play a key role in leading the Client Retention Planning Process and coordinating with internal operations team members to ensure retention opportunities are calendared and tasks are completed on time.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate efforts of regional leaders on the rebid cycle for all contracts with upcoming expiration dates
  • Exercise strong internal project management skills to ensure contracts do not go out to rebid in the first place
  • Delegate tasks to other departments (Pricing, Legal, etc.) as well as Operations personnel (GMs, RVPs)
  • Develop customer retention plans and lead planning meetings
  • Support development and utilization of enterprise level tools to raise visibility of upcoming contract expiration dates
  • Coordinate rebid proposal development and interactions with the rebid proposal development team and the pricing team to ensure margins are maximized during rebid
  • Review the work product of others and edit or make corrections or improvements to our responses to rebid RFPs
  • Coordinate and participate in rebid sales presentations and design presentations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field of study
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in proposal writing and/or bid experience
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

  • Base salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year plus bonus eligibility
