Customer Support Coordinator

Vicon, a leading provider of precision motion capture and tracking systems, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Support Coordinator to join our Support team in Denver. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate post-sale activities, including installations and training services.
  • Liaise with customers to gather information for technical staff.
  • Ensure all engineers' time is arranged, delivered, and followed up, with up-to-date information available for technical staff, management, and finance teams.
  • Respond to customer support cases and distribute tasks fairly to appropriate technical or administrative staff.
  • Enter data into our CRM system for all hardware, software, and contracts sold.
  • Respond to calls and cases where appropriate or pass to the relevant support or sales engineer.
  • Schedule internal tasks requiring support engineers.
  • Coordinate equipment for external loans or demonstrations.
  • Maintain software license contracts and generate licenses.
  • Report on support activities and general housekeeping of customer data.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a human science or related technical field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and with customers.
  • Experience with varied administrative tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Proficient in data entry with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to take an active role in handling and storing valuable equipment.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful in finding solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Great organizational skills.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience scheduling tasks for a team of technical staff.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases.
  • Customer service or support experience.
