About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our TJ Maxx team as a Retail Backroom Coordinator. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Management: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure products are properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Associates to process merchandise efficiently and effectively, and maintain a positive internal and external customer experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the backroom area is organized, clean, and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, and provide feedback to improve performance.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and Associates to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor and address priorities.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Team player with the ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
