Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Eden, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
  • Verifies patient identification, obtains patient history, and assists patients and family members as needed.
  • Administers oral and IV contrast according to protocols and ensures accurate image transfer and documentation.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment and adheres to quality control standards.
  • Precepts new employees and students and contributes to the development of the department.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligibility.
  • Advanced certification in CT within one year of employment.
  • Current competency in HCP BLS.
