Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting procedures and tests using CT equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history
  • Conduct CT scans and manipulate images according to protocols
  • Administer oral and IV contrast to patients according to protocols
  • Transfer images to PACS and verify transmission
  • Perform other duties as required, including maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong educational background in Radiological Science or a related field. The ideal candidate will be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible. Advanced certification in CT is also required within one year of employment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 36 hours per week. The work assignment type is onsite, and the work schedule includes weekends. The location of the job is in Eden, NC.
