Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Systems & Components Technician to join our team at Aerospace Systems & Components, Inc. in the Repair Station Department.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical manuals, good written and communication skills, computer literacy, experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, highly disciplined problem-solving skills, and basic shop math skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong work history, attention to detail, and the flexibility to work overtime on weekdays and weekends as dictated by the workload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of valves, motors, and blowers.
  • Perform analysis to trouble-shoot and ascertain failure causes.
  • Setup and perform tests for functional acceptance.
  • Perform maintenance in accordance with technical information.
  • Comply with all Safety requirements of the position and the facility.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical manuals.
  • Good written and communication skills, computer literacy, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with aerospace equipment and practices.
Working Conditions

The employee will work in a temperature-controlled factory environment, frequently standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
