Position Overview

The Regional Facilities Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of FOSS facilities, including pools and pump rooms, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for both customers and staff. This position will oversee multiple locations within the region.

Key Responsibilities

The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing vendor relationships and contracted services.
  • Acquiring necessary parts and equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Reducing equipment downtime through effective spare parts management and timely installations.
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Providing insights into departmental best practices.
  • Developing and managing a comprehensive maintenance schedule for critical systems, including pools, HVAC, and other facilities.
  • Executing plumbing tasks in compliance with relevant codes.
  • Managing HVAC maintenance and filter schedules.
  • Handling electrical installations and repairs.
  • Preparing surfaces for painting or treatment.
  • Conducting regular audits of facilities to ensure compliance and assess system needs.
  • Overseeing ongoing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Managing the work order process for all regional facilities and recommending optimal solutions.
  • Coordinating with vendors and contractors as necessary and managing project budgets.
  • Providing guidance to local staff during maintenance issues or emergencies.
  • Actively participating in team meetings and collaborative projects across regions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in pool maintenance and pump room operations.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification (training may be provided).
  • Proficient in the safe use and maintenance of various tools and equipment.
  • Experience managing operations across multiple locations.
  • Strong collaborative skills to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for effective presentations to teams and vendors.
