Your Role:

At MyBambu, your contributions can create a significant impact. We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about playing a vital role in the growth of MyBambu. This full-time, in-person position requires a commitment to professionalism while also embracing a fun work environment. As a Business Development and Community Outreach Representative, your primary responsibility will be to expand MyBambu's customer base. You will employ strategic prospecting methods to identify potential clients and initiate outreach efforts, with the aim of scheduling meetings and building a robust sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent MyBambu positively and uphold the brand at all times.
  • Maintain regular communication with personnel from various external organizations.
  • Address inquiries professionally through product knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Reach out to potential leads via outbound calls and emails.
  • Conduct in-person visits and presentations for existing and prospective clients.
  • Enhance member relations by responding promptly to communications and attending meetings.
  • Develop and refine ideal partner profiles to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Participate in local community events to raise brand awareness.
  • Set up promotional booths and showcase our offerings.
  • Deliver presentations and speeches about our products.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on best practices to drive revenue growth.
  • Be prepared to engage in hands-on work as the team expands.
  • Communicate on behalf of the CCO/CMO with board members, donors, and other stakeholders regarding programmatic initiatives.
  • Organize and manage the CCO/CMO's schedule, tracking invitations and responses for community events.
  • Edit and finalize written communications for external stakeholders; maintain employee records and grant documentation.
  • Monitor and report any issues that arise.
  • Identify challenges and implement proactive solutions for optimal outcomes.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and written communication skills, working collaboratively and adaptively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Business English and Spanish, including spelling and punctuation for document preparation.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Confidence and comfort in public speaking.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of verifiable experience in marketing, business development, or community engagement.
  • Proven business development experience with a track record of driving revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish partnership programs from the ground up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of technology and business strategy.
  • Clear communicator capable of inspiring external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Passionate about technology and relationship-building.
  • Willingness to travel when safe to do so.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
