Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team at MediaNews Group. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities to exceed KPI goals
  • Develop and deliver compelling marketing presentations and solution-based proposals to cater to customer needs
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients to ensure lasting business relationships and continued revenue growth
  • Stay informed on industry trends and utilize multiple lead sources to research, prioritize, and target potential customers
  • Analyze sales metrics to develop effective strategies for achieving sales success

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of advertising/media sales experience with a track record of driving revenue and closing deals
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with a sales enablement platform
  • Proficiency in Zoom, Google Hangouts, or similar video conferencing tools
  • Thoroughly skilled in sales techniques such as cold-calling, networking, and lead generation
  • Capable of working independently and identifying/prioritizing business opportunities effectively
