Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Executive Finance Leader to drive financial strategy and performance for a rapidly growing technology firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with 15+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, preferably in the IT consulting and professional services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's growth plans.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, and evaluate investment opportunities to optimize capital allocation.
  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with investors and analysts, communicating financial performance, strategic initiatives, and growth prospects.
  • Lead M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration planning, to support business growth.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, developing risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's financial health.
  • Provide significant financial leadership/oversight over US and India operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global financial strategy.
  • Oversee financial aspects related to a workforce of 2000+ people, collaborating with HR and senior management to ensure effective workforce planning and cost management strategies.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience working for a large global IT consulting and services company, with a strong focus on digital transformation, IT outsourcing, and enterprise solutions across multiple industries.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience working within an IT consulting & professional services company that sells into multiple verticals, with experience in BFSI vertical preferred.
  • Experience leading M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, and integration.
  • Experience working with foreign currencies and multiple time zones.
  • Must have first-hand knowledge of India compliance and taxation requirements and interacting with India-based team members.
  • Experience working closely with a PE-affiliated Board.
  • Experience in Comprehensive ERP Transition: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transitions, encompassing planning, implementation, and optimization phases.
  • Experience working for a rapidly scaling company with revenues of $75 million and up.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial performance and creating shareholder value.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
