In this role, you will be responsible for operating registers or other equipment, restocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and assisting customers. Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Less than 30 hours weekly
Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Note: Training will occur at a nearby location until the new store is operational.

Key Responsibilities: Must be able to perform tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.


• Collaborates with colleagues and communicates pertinent information to the direct supervisor

• Maintains the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the area of responsibility

• Performs additional duties as assigned

Cashier Duties:


• Processes customer transactions, conducts general cleaning tasks, and organizes merchandise displays

• Delivers outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs

• Provides management with feedback regarding products, inventory discrepancies, scanning errors, and other issues

• Participates in inventory counts as per guidelines and monitors stock for accuracy

• Follows cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses

Stock Associate Duties:


• Restocks shelves and rotates products to ensure freshness for customers

• Adheres to merchandising guidelines to create visually appealing displays

• Organizes incoming inventory and disposes of empty packaging

• Operates machinery safely and adheres to all safety protocols

Physical Requirements:


• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and navigate the store

• Stock Associate: Ability to stock products from receiving to shelving; must be able to lift items weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights

Qualifications:


• Must be at least 18 years old

• Capable of providing prompt and courteous customer service

• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards

• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Effective time management skills

• Familiarity with company products and services


• Cashier: Proficient in operating a cash register accurately

• Cashier: Must comply with state and local regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages

• Stock Associate: Must be able to operate equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in a retail setting preferred

• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
