Ideal Candidate:

We are in search of a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst (Top Secret Clearance Required) who possesses a wealth of experience in a dynamic public sector setting. The selected candidate will engage with various facets of federal client support and will be encouraged to develop professionally as the company evolves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Authorization to Operate (ATO) documentation for the Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process.
  • Oversee the maintenance of ATO documentation throughout the SA&A lifecycle.
  • Evaluate the implications of system modifications and technological advancements.
  • Conduct reviews of systems and logs to detect potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Validate security measures and propose enhancements to mitigate identified risks.
  • Implement and document findings and necessary changes.
  • Assist in the management and resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Support the maintenance of a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
  • Contribute to compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and other relevant IT audits.
  • Assist in evaluating and addressing security-related inquiries through various ticketing systems.
  • Help maintain the operational security posture of information systems.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in maintaining operational security for information systems or programs as an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) or Information System Security Manager (ISSM).
  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) ATO documentation, including System Categorization, System Security Plans (SSP), Security Control Baselines, and Continuous Monitoring Strategies.
  • Experience with Security Assessment Plans (SAP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms).
  • Ability to generate various reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual security assessments and compliance reports.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications is advantageous.
