Candidate Profile:

We are in search of a SOC Analyst (Night Shift) - Top Secret Clearance to oversee the monitoring, detection, and response to cybersecurity threats in a secure and dynamic environment. This role encompasses real-time alert monitoring, incident analysis, and forensic investigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess real-time security alerts.
  • Coordinate and manage incident documentation.
  • Conduct incident analysis, including forensic and malware examination.
  • Implement incident containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.
  • Provide incident response support and assist with Continuity of Operations (COOP).
  • Maintain and revise the Incident Response Plan (IR Plan).
  • Define and assign incident response roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop and standardize incident report templates and procedures.
  • Conduct annual incident response drills and training sessions.
  • Generate reports on SOC best practices and ensure cybersecurity compliance.
  • Formulate and manage SOC transition plans for uninterrupted service delivery.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in real-time alert monitoring and incident management.
  • Experience in incident containment and recovery, including emergency response.
  • Familiarity with COOP planning and execution.
  • Knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800 series, and federal cybersecurity regulations.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity incident management and SOC operations.
  • Expertise in forensic analysis and malware investigation.
  • Strong grasp of cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Active Top-Secret security clearance is mandatory.

Work Schedule:

  • 4 days on, 12-hour shifts, followed by 3 days off
  • 3 days on, 12-hour shifts, followed by 4 days off
  • Mandatory shifts from 6pm to 6am on weekdays
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts on weekends as needed
