Our organization boasts over 400 in-patient beds and maintains a comprehensive database of individuals affected by mental health issues, neurological disorders, sleep disorders, addictions, acute and chronic pain, diabetes, and other medical conditions, as well as healthy volunteers participating in trials aimed at advancing medical science.

With access to a vast pool of over 32 million potential participants and a history of completed trials, Evolution Research Group is committed to expanding its capabilities and addressing significant unmet medical needs both in the United States and internationally.


Role Overview:
The Patient Recruitment Coordinator plays a crucial role in interviewing, pre-screening, and scheduling appointments for patients interested in participating in clinical studies. This position requires the ability to assess information provided by potential participants to determine their eligibility for various studies.

The Coordinator will receive guidance on protocols from the Recruitment Manager, with contributions from the Centralized Recruitment Department, Site Director, and Principal Investigators.


Key Responsibilities:
Patient Recruitment


Conduct initial patient phone screenings and accurately input and regularly update patient information in the database to maintain data integrity.

Generate CTMS reports to identify potential candidates for enrollment in trials, subsequently contacting them to gauge their interest.

Collaborate with the Centralized Recruitment Team to create recruitment enrollment sheets for screening new patients.

Maintain communication with monitors and medical personnel to confirm patient eligibility for trials.
Coordinate with the Recruitment Manager to effectively schedule new patient screening appointments.

Follow up with patients scheduled for screenings to sustain their interest and ensure they understand eligibility criteria.

Engage with patients from central advertising campaigns and schedule them for trials if they meet pre-screening qualifications.

Support the implementation of Company Sponsored marketing and recruitment initiatives, as well as community outreach efforts, including participation in health fairs and community events to enhance visibility and attract potential participants for clinical research.

Patient Database Management


Achieve proficiency in the functionality of CTMS related to the patient database, ensuring accurate capture and updating of patient information.

Document and uphold all Company processes for conducting and inputting new patient screenings (via phone, web submission, or in-person);
Document and maintain all Company processes for regularly updating existing patient information in CTMS.
Document and maintain all Company processes for generating Salesforce Reports.
This role may also encompass additional responsibilities as necessitated by the evolving needs of the organization.

Education

Demonstrate familiarity with the clinical research studies conducted at the site, including relevant diagnoses and medical terminology.
Understand the protocols and exclusions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of each trial.
Study, learn, and adhere to Evolution Research Group/Site standard operating procedures, policies, practices, and applicable regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education and Experience
High School Diploma (College Degree preferred)
A minimum of two years of experience in sales, medical, or clinical research settings (experience in patient recruitment is highly desirable)
Requirements
Exceptional communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
Strong persuasive and selling abilities
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and external patients
Professional demeanor, a strong sense of urgency, self-motivation, and a robust work ethic
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Friendly and outgoing personality; ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with a CTMS system is preferred.

Medical Skills:
Proficiency in medical terminology. Familiarity with pharmaceutical products is preferred.
