JOB PROFILE:
Senior Accountant

JOB LOCATION:
Carrollton, TX

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Accountant will oversee various financial functions under the guidance of the controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


1. Manage all facets of accounts payable and receivable, including the preparation of monthly client invoices, weekly payment runs, and analysis of AP and AR aging reports.

2. Conduct weekly cash reconciliations across all subsidiaries, investigate discrepancies, and recommend adjustments to the Controller.

3. Perform month-end General Ledger reconciliations across subsidiaries and consolidated entities, advising the Controller on necessary adjustments.

4. Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by identifying and preparing required accruals, reconciling open Purchase Orders, Prepaids, Deposits, Fixed Assets, and inter-company re-invoicing GL accounts.

5. Support the Controller during the annual financial audit.
6. Aid in the migration and enhancement of accounting software.
7. Ensure adherence to company finance and accounting protocols, including purchase order processes, approvals, and payments.
8. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with company policies and accepted accounting principles.
9. Assist with the management and utilization of the expense and travel system.

10. Collaborate closely with various accounting teams (both local and international) and actively contribute to the Corporate Finance & Accounting department.

11. Perform ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are essential:
1. Experience in Accounts Payable.
2. Proficiency in General Ledger reconciliation.
3. Background in Cash Management.

4. Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred, along with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines and collaboratively across various levels of staff and departments.

5. Capability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
6. Proficiency in computer applications, including MS365 and MS Excel (H/V/XLOOKUP, pivots, and other advanced features).
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
8. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and professional email etiquette.
9. Ability to multitask, solve problems, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Anticipatory thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
2. A Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
