Senior Accountant



JOB LOCATION:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


VINCI Highways Mobility Solutions is a software enterprise with a significant workforce. The Senior Accountant will oversee various financial responsibilities under the guidance of the controller. The following duties will be performed, with additional tasks assigned as necessary. The sequence of duties does not indicate their importance or the time allocated to each.


  • Manage all facets of accounts payable and receivable, generate monthly client invoices as required, execute weekly payment runs, and review and analyze aging balances for AP and AR.

Conduct weekly cash reconciliations across all subsidiaries, investigate any discrepancies, and suggest adjustment entries to the Controller.

Perform General Ledger reconciliations at month-end across all subsidiaries and consolidated entities, recommending adjustment entries to the Controller.

  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes: identify and prepare necessary accruals, reconcile open Purchase Orders, Prepaids, Deposits, Fixed Assets, and inter-company re-invoicing GL accounts.
  • Support the Controller during the annual financial audit.
Assist the Controller with the migration and enhancement of accounting software.

  • Ensure adherence to company finance and accounting protocols: purchase order processes, approvals, payments, etc.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with company policies and accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist in the management and utilization of the expense and travel system.

Collaborate closely with various accounting teams (both local and international) and actively contribute to the Corporate Finance & Accounting department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable.
General Ledger reconciliation experience is essential.

  • Experience in Cash Management.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred, along with the ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and collaborate with various levels of employees and departments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Proficiency in computer applications; MS365, MS Excel (including H/V/XLOOKUP, pivots, and other formulas & features).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including email etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive thinking and anticipation of needs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
