Clinical Services Technician

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting specimens from all age populations, processing and allocating laboratory specimens and orders, and verifying patient/specimen identification and order appropriateness. They will also organize laboratory workflow, prioritize processing and distribution of specimens, and utilize equipment, instruments, and computer systems to test requests, access, label, and deliver specimens to appropriate laboratory sections within acceptable time frames.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need 1 year of clinical experience as a phlebotomist and 1 year of healthcare experience in acute care. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a graduate phlebotomy program is preferred. Certification in American Society for Clinical Pathology or Phlebotomy is also preferred.
Work Schedule
This is a Monday-Thursday, 8-4:30 position with no weekend requirements and no call requirements.
