Community Advisor Project Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Advisor Project Coordinator to join our team at Jannus Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Community Advisor Network, providing guidance to Idaho resettlement agencies, and advocating for equitable and inclusive services for refugees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training resources for agency staff to deepen their understanding of effective and equitable service delivery.
- Coordinate annual statewide Community Advisory retreats to foster collaboration and share best practices.
- Convene regular trainings and meetings with community advisors and key partners to ensure progress towards project goals.
- Recruit local and national topic experts to deliver Community Advisor training.
- Support Community Advisors' participation in Neighbors United and cultivate relationships with important community partners.
- Coordinate ICAN Work Plan implementation and ensure solid understanding of ICAN across service programs.
- Process referrals and inquiries, and serve as the primary point of contact between IOR and IDHW TANF Navigators Program.
Requirements:
- Experience working with diverse populations, including refugees and communities of color.
- Ability to apply independent judgment and make decisions collaboratively or independently.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to form productive partnerships across diverse communities and organizations.
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Integrity, credibility, and a passion for serving people from diverse backgrounds.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to rapidly-changing environments, with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation.
- Proficiency in computer software (MS Office).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in collaborative leadership and program evaluation.
- Knowledge of state and federal policies and regulations regarding the use of Office of Refugee Resettlement and Health and Welfare TANF funds.
Education:
Preferred bachelor's degree in social work, education, political science, public administration, communication, or other related field; or equivalent work experience.
Working Conditions:
Works in a general office environment and is able to follow pandemic protocols and work from home during office closures. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position with occasional evenings and weekend hours.
