THE ROLE
US Concerts is in search of a Maintenance Staff Member to ensure our venues are always ready for shows and to deliver an exceptional experience for fans.

This role entails executing a variety of tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in accordance with safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the venue's business objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain the venue's safety and cleanliness at all times, which includes but is not limited to: cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors, and walls of restrooms, ensuring all guest-facing areas are free of litter, and restocking restroom supplies as necessary.
  • Keep workspaces organized and tidy, clean equipment, and assist with additional cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment during events and perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment during service.


  • Demonstrate CARE by engaging in the venue's sustainability initiatives, which may involve implementing programs that conserve resources and reduce waste, such as sorting waste and collecting recyclables, while educating our fans about our efforts.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members at the conclusion of events to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables from various areas and properly storing event equipment.
  • Perform basic machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Execute mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out necessary maintenance and service.


  • Diagnose issues, replace or repair components, test, and make adjustments.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility structures.
  • Perform various plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks.
  • Utilize a range of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in executing duties.
  • Identify faulty operations, defective materials, and report any unusual situations to the appropriate supervision.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Fulfill all other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, along with completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience.
  • An Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is advantageous.
  • Must be highly motivated and capable of working independently.
  • This position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying over 50 lbs, and occasional sitting.

The expected compensation for this position in California is:
$16.00 USD - $20.00 Hourly
