THE ROLE
The Magnolia is in search of a Vehicle Parking Specialist who will be tasked with managing vehicle parking or issuing tickets for patrons in a designated parking area. Responsibilities may include handling cash and collecting payments for parking services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive numbered tags from guests, locate vehicles, and return vehicles, or provide guests with directions for finding their vehicles.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in parking areas to optimize space utilization.
  • Guide drivers to appropriate parking areas or spaces using hand signals or flashlights as needed.

  • Monitor parking areas to deter vehicle damage and theft of vehicles or property.
  • Welcome guests and assist them by opening their car doors.
  • Calculate parking fees and collect payments from guests.
  • Distribute ticket stubs or place numbered tags on windshields, providing guests with matching tags for vehicle retrieval.

  • Set up, position, and remove barricades to manage parking area access.
  • Inspect vehicles for any signs of damage.
  • Demonstrate commitment to sustainability by participating in the venue's eco-friendly initiatives, which may involve implementing programs that conserve resources, prevent waste, and educate fans about our efforts.

  • Collaborate with team members at the conclusion of events to close the venue, which may include collecting recyclables and properly storing event equipment.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred one year of prior guest service experience, demonstrating the ability to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally.

  • This position requires frequent walking and occasional sitting.
  • A well-groomed appearance is expected.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
