Job Summary:

Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Neurology team in Spring Lake. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patients with neurological conditions
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as credentialed
• Prescribe medication and implement appropriate management based on laboratory results and physical assessment
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to quality initiatives to ensure consistent attainment of key quality indicators
• Support IRB-approved clinical research/trials through various activities, including ordering diagnostic tests and documenting outcomes

Qualifications:

• Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing, APRN license in the state of Florida, and national advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board
• Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, maintain current licensure and BLS certification
