Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Engineering Lead Associate to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure systems and networks.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in INFOSEC, assessing, categorizing, classifying, and evaluating cybersecurity risks and threats. They will also have experience using common INFOSEC and cybersecurity tools such as Tenable Nessus and Security Center, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Defining system security requirements, developing security concept of operations (CONOPs), and security baselines.
  • Conducting information security and cybersecurity assessment testing and reporting, identifying deficiencies and documenting plans of action and milestones.
  • Providing continuous assurance with full awareness of security, regulatory, and corporate policies, compliance, and implementation of technology in support of security controls.
  • Recording and keeping up-to-date information on the security posture and providing status updates and briefings to customers.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college; or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related scientific/technical field. (Additional education, training, certifications, or work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree or work experience at the Government's discretion.)

Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and poly is required.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
