Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly-skilled and compassionate respiratory therapist to join our medical team at National Support Services, Inc.

In this position, you will play a key role in patient care by helping to monitor progress and administer breathing treatments as prescribed by our physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respiratory Procedures: Perform all necessary respiratory procedures using non-invasive methods, e.g. CPAP and BIPAP therapies.
  • Staff Education: Educate staff on basic respiratory therapy procedures.
  • Therapy Administration: Carefully follow doctors' instructions and conduct all prescribed therapies accurately and completely.
  • Patient Evaluation: Participate in the diagnosis and evaluation of patients, recommend treatments, and advise doctors on best practices to control abnormal functions in the patient's cardiopulmonary systems.
  • Sample Analysis: Administer blood gas samples and perform basic analysis.
  • Documentation: Document all treatments and report progress to physicians.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with all laws and policies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree in respiratory therapy.
  • Licensure: Valid RRT or CRT license, current and in good standing.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a licensed respiratory therapist.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of most up-to-date therapy procedures for patients.
  • Bedside Manner: Excellent bedside manner.

Work Schedule:

  • Shift: 12-hour shift.
  • Availability: Day shift, night shift, and weekend availability.
