About the Role:
Imagineers, a reputable property management company, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations of our properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective planning, direction, supervision, performance, and evaluation of all maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including carpentry, painting, and repairs
- Oversee the maintenance of 346 residential units, public facilities, and grounds
- Manage a maintenance assistant and direct charge over contractors
- Perform routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and report to the Community Association Manager
- Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot problems
- Oversee contractors and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance operations and supervision
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
