Job Title: Area Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish relationships with executives in client organizations to build measurable pipelines.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective business development, offering positioning, and sales strategies.
  • Execute lead generation, prospecting, and sales management goals to build an optimal sales pipeline.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with senior management at targeted firms.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including initial client communication, on-site presentations, RFI response, multi-day client workshops, RFP submission, negotiation, and deal signing.
  • Collaborate with presales teams and practice teams to ensure proposed offerings meet customers' business and technology needs.
  • Provide support to customers during initial engagement phases and ensure total client satisfaction throughout the relationship.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience selling Tech and IT services, preferably in a leading IT services, digital consulting, technology reseller, or cloud consulting firm.
  • Demonstrable success in business development at Retail customers is essential.
  • Proven track record of success in selling Digital transformation, Product Engineering, Cloud, and Data Analytics services.
  • Strong contact base and access to alumni, local associations, and industry associations.
  • Experience with vendor selection processes, including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate with senior-level business and technology executives.
