Position Overview:
The Assistant Branch Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Retail Office Manager in steering branch activities to meet sales and service goals, thereby enhancing customer engagement and attracting new clientele while retaining existing customers.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8 AM - 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM - 1 PM. Flexibility in scheduling is essential as the hours may adjust based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and cultivate a collaborative atmosphere among branch associates.
- Conduct monthly coaching sessions and oversee business development initiatives.
- Manage branch operations, including scheduling and other administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Mortgage, Wealth Management, and Commercial Lending to enhance customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail banking is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a retail banking setting is necessary.
- Previous exposure to branch operations, including policies and regulations, is essential.
- Strong consultative sales experience is a must.
- Comprehensive knowledge of deposit and retail loan products, as well as familiarity with business lending, is required.
- Proficiency in financial fundamentals, including interest computation and payment calculations, is expected.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Basic computer skills are required.
