Responsibilities
  • Set and forecast objectives for the parts department
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate the performance of all parts department personnel
  • Manage inventory in alignment with the needs of various departments
  • Establish pricing guidelines for different customer categories
  • Ensure inventory accuracy
  • Verify that all parts are appropriately labeled
  • Oversee stock ordering processes
  • Collaborate closely with the service manager to ensure prompt availability of necessary parts
  • Provide technical support as needed
  • Develop and implement customer interaction guidelines to maximize satisfaction
  • Enforce safety protocols
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Create an annual budget and strategy to ensure department profitability
  • Implement operational efficiencies within the department
  • Assist staff at the counter when required
  • Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of prior management experience
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated follow-up and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written information and instructions
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
