As a Loss Prevention Supervisor, you will work closely with the Market Loss Prevention Manager and Store Leadership to promote a culture of shrink prevention through operational excellence, theft deterrence, and employee development, while ensuring a safety-first environment with 200% accountability. You will oversee and ensure the success of Loss Prevention initiatives, company directives, and safety measures to maintain an atmosphere of integrity and excellence.
Travel throughout the North Wisconsin Market may be required to support stores and/or to fill vacancies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the leadership of the Loss Prevention team, including hiring, performance evaluations, providing timely feedback, and scheduling within budgetary guidelines.
- Manage and engage in investigations of internal and external losses and criminal activities, ensuring store-wide execution of deterrence strategies, including merchandise protection through effective training and follow-up with store leadership.
- Act as a permanent member of the store's Safety Committee, promoting the expectation of 200% safety accountability.
- Conduct safety audits to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, implementing strategies to address any concerns.
- Ensure the physical security of the assigned unit, including AP technology, fire protection systems, and alarms, while maintaining key control and training staff appropriately.
- Develop and implement strategies related to the store's shrink plans, ensuring that Loss Prevention objectives are met.
- Maintain professional standards within the Loss Prevention office, serving as a point of contact for external authorities.
- Review financial reports and area-specific processes to identify root causes of issues, collaborating with store leadership to develop resolutions.
- Conduct pre and post-inventory assessments and analyses.
- Participate in store meetings, new team member orientations, and department-specific meetings to discuss Loss Prevention topics.

- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1 - 2 years of retail experience.
- 1 - 2 years of investigative experience preferred.
- 1 - 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to think strategically and make informed recommendations and decisions.
- Proficient in delegating tasks to ensure completion across multiple units.
- Ability to prioritize effectively to achieve significant positive impacts on the organization.
- Utilizes strong leadership skills to guide asset protection teams remotely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to analyze financial reporting tools, including Shrink, P/L statements, Risk Assessments, and Exception reports.
- Strong investigative skills and techniques.
- Skilled in interviewing and interrogation tactics (Wicklander preferred).
- Understanding of the criminal and civil justice systems (local, state, federal, and regulatory).
- Familiarity with Organized Retail Crime.
- Knowledge of retail operations (e.g., cash office, receiving, pharmacy operations) and product protection strategies.
