What to Expect with a Career at Oshkosh:
Competitive Compensation – based on experience and education, with a minimum starting rate of $20.59 per hour, and merit increases at 6 months, 12 months, and annually.

Shift Details:
Shift times and overtime may vary based on role, department, and location.
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, four 10-hour days, with potential overtime on Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

Job Summary:
The Electrician I role involves verifying and completing assigned tasks related to electrical assembly.

Responsibilities include assembling, installing, routing, and connecting electrical components for subsequent processes.

Utilization of various hand tools such as drills, crimpers, wire cutters, and electric drivers is essential.

Maintaining a clean and safe workspace is a priority.

Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a safe work environment.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions to accomplish tasks.
- Assemble, wire, install, and route electrical components.
- Operate hand tools including crimpers, wire cutters, and electric drivers.
- Organize and maintain electrical parts.
- Lift components as necessary.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Collaborate with co-workers on inventory management.
- Ensure cleanliness of the work area.
- Adhere to scheduled work hours and maintain excellent attendance.
- Work overtime as required.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Electro-Mechanical roles is required.
- An Associate's Degree in Automotive Mechanics or Electro-Mechanical fields is preferred.
- Experience in maintenance or operations is beneficial.
- Previous experience with Oshkosh Corporation is a plus.

Essential Skills:
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to recognize and respond to abnormal operating conditions.
- Proficient in using personal protective equipment as needed.
- Capable of lifting and manipulating parts weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to distinguish colors of wires and components.
- Safe operation of heavy equipment.
