Job Title: Social Media Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a social media strategy that resonates with our diverse and global audience of educators, school administrators, students, and parents.
  • Manage and grow our social media channels, including creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and monitoring and reporting on social metrics and insights.
  • Collaborate with our business, marketing, community, and product teams to ensure alignment with our brand, tone of voice, and global social channel priorities.
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns for key beats in partnership with the Minecraft Education Marketing team.
  • Host content ideation and team brainstorms to generate and publish social content and engage with audiences daily.
  • Curate user-generated content and identify potential influencers, creators, and customer voices to highlight and work with.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and support for the Minecraft Creative Team in conceptualization and execution of assets.
  • Track and report on channel and content performance, setting benchmarks and contributing to campaign reporting dashboards.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in social media strategy planning, goal setting, and implementation.
  • Experience managing high-volume social media channels for well-known brands or products.
  • Passion for education/social impact and understanding of community engagement and audience strategy.
  • Familiarity with data to adjust and optimize strategy and activations for community-facing channels.
  • Excellent collaboration, copywriting, and communication skills.
  • Competent with Office 365 and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, and native social media analytics experience preferred).
