Job Title: Social Media Manager

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our Communications Team as a full-time Social Media Manager at our Redmond, WA Campus.

About the Role:

This person is a self-starter who thrives in collaborative and independent projects and is passionate about using their skills to help others hear the love and hope of Jesus.

Responsibilities:
  • Own social media at the Redmond Campus — manage all published content on a day-to-day basis and maintain a content calendar.
  • Create, edit, and share engaging content (photos, videos, text, and graphics) daily on Timberlake social media channels.
  • Use social media marketing tools to maintain and grow the Timberlake brand.
  • Monitor all metrics and analytics and create monthly reports.
  • Respond to and interact with followers via the Timberlake social media accounts.
  • Take and edit photos/videos on Sundays/at a variety of church events.
  • Develop, train, and lead a team of media volunteers.
  • Research and stay on top of social media and marketing trends.
  • Demonstrate creative decision-making and problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and multi-tasking abilities both in the office and at events.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in social media management and content creation.
  • Skilled writer and editor with a knack for writing engaging captions.
  • Ability to think in photos, videos, graphics, and copy with the intent to engage followers and create a unique and ownable social footprint that is consistent and on-brand.
  • Desire to reach people with little to no church background while also engaging with our church community.
  • Hardworking, able to work in a fast-paced environment, detail-oriented, creative, and future-thinking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience taking and editing photos/videos.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite + Canva).
  • Experience creating social media content in a church environment.
  • Ability to develop, train, and lead volunteers.
