Job Summary

The Executive Assistant will serve as a key liaison between various departments within the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group and the President & Publisher. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain the President's calendar and schedule, including travel itineraries
* Handle daily correspondence with internal staff, authors, agents, and business partners
* Manage travel and entertainment expense reports
* Provide administrative support to the President & Publisher, including benefits administration and Internet research
* Maintain and report human resources data to corporate human resources representatives
* Plan and coordinate events, including annual events, personal occasions, conventions, seminars, and large meetings
* Develop and maintain an extensive client database
* Support strategic projects with research, agendas, and presentation materials

Requirements

* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Ability to learn new applications and technologies

What We Offer

* Competitive salary range: $58,000-$65,000
