MMP Staffing Services is a reputable provider of behavioral health solutions, seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced ABA therapist to design and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and provide supervision and training to support staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and evaluations to identify clients' needs and behavioral challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and techniques to develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans.
  • Behavior Intervention Planning:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.
  • Set measurable goals and objectives for behavior change and skill development.
  • Therapeutic Interventions:
  • Provide direct ABA therapy to clients and model appropriate techniques for support staff.
  • Utilize positive reinforcement, discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), and other ABA strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill acquisition.
  • Supervision and Training:
  • Supervise and provide ongoing training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other support staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Data Collection and Analysis:
  • Oversee data collection processes to track clients' progress and treatment efficacy.
  • Analyze data and adjust intervention plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with clients' families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and consistent care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and coordinate services.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • A Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Certification and Licensure:
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Current state licensure where applicable.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing ABA therapy and developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities preferred.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
