Foundational Sciences Lead in Veterinary Medicine

Clemson University's College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a faculty position as the Foundational Sciences Lead. This role will play a vital part in developing and implementing the DVM Foundational Sciences curriculum, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in the foundational sciences.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver the Foundational Sciences curriculum, aligning with the overall competency-based curriculum.
- Collaborate with other unit leads to ensure integration of knowledge and skills across courses and years.
- Oversee the management and collection of data essential for academic planning, program assessment, and program improvement.
- Lead research and scholarship initiatives to improve educational outcomes in students.
- Organize and train faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to deliver content and provide assessments.
- Serve on CVM and campus committees as appointed or elected.
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- 3-plus years of education experience.
- Board certification or residency training in a veterinary specialty recognized by the ABVS (ACVS, ABVP, etc).
