Clinical Skills Lead for Veterinary Medicine

About the Position
Clemson University's College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a highly qualified individual to lead the development and implementation of the DVM Clinical Skills curriculum. This is a full-time faculty position that requires a strong background in clinical skills education and a passion for teaching and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver the clinical skills unit curriculum, ensuring alignment with the overall competency-based curriculum.
- Develop assessment strategies to evaluate student learning and progress.
- Collaborate with other unit leads to ensure integration of knowledge and skills across years and units.
- Organize and train clinical skills faculty to deliver content and provide assessments.
- Work closely with the Director of Clinical Teaching Operations to manage facilities, animal use, and clinical skills staff.
- Assist in managing a multi-million-dollar equipment budget.
- Serve on CVM and campus committees as appointed or elected.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- 3-plus years of education experience.
- Experience and a history of excellence in clinical skills education.
- Board certification or residency training in a veterinary specialty recognized by the ABVS (ACVS, ABVP, etc).
