Overview

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. This role offers a sign-on bonus of $1,000 for new hires.

The successful candidate will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and safely operating MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service in every dimension, every time.

Key Responsibilities

As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing patients for MRI procedures and ensuring their safety during the process.
  • Operating MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Providing exceptional patient care and service, adhering to the principles of 'First Do No Harm'.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A High School Diploma or GED, with a 2-year Associate Degree preferred.
  • Graduation from an ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program.
  • Minimum one year of experience in MRI, with certification and registration by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within six months of hire.
  • Additional skills in analytical ability, basic computer skills, and good communication skills.
