Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a 2-year Associate Degree preferred. A graduate of an ARRT-approved Program or CAAHEP-recognized Sonography Program is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in sonography is required.
- Licensure/Certification: You must be certified and registered by ARDMS in three specialties, including Vascular Technology, Pediatric Sonography, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Vascular Technology certification by ARRT in Vascular Sonography or CCI in Vascular Ultrasound is also required.
As a Diagnostic Sonographer III, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a safe patient environment. This includes:
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Utilizing your expertise to ensure accurate and efficient diagnostic procedures.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
