The Diagnostic Sonographer III plays a vital role in assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic procedures by preparing patients and operating ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality scans. This position requires expertise in matching examination demographics to the hiring site.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Preparing patients for diagnostic procedures and operating ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality scans.
  • Maintaining expertise in matching examination demographics to the hiring site.
  • Collaborating with physicians to ensure accurate and efficient diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a 2-year associate degree preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in sonography, with certification and registration by ARDMS in three specialties.
  • Licensure and certification in vascular technology, pediatric sonography, and obstetrics and gynecology.
