Metal Building Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating and managing pre-engineered metal building projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Manage project schedules and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
  • Administer warranty and repair programs for pre-engineered metal building projects
  • Coordinate billing and collection of repair and warranty charges
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in drafting, project management, or construction management preferred
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in a pre-engineered metal building / PEMB systems commercial construction environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents
  • Ability to produce quality work in an efficient manner with little supervision in an ever-changing environment
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based applications
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment including computer, printer, copier, fax, scanner, adding machine, telephone, and mobile phone/radio
  • Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license
