Metal Building Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for coordinating and managing pre-engineered metal building projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the receipt and inspection of shipping manifests for pre-engineered metal building orders.
  • Manage project schedules and review shop drawings to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design professionals to design pre-engineered metal building products.
  • Maintain accurate records of final drawings for all projects.
  • Interact with suppliers, including Butler Manufacturing and Bluescope Steel, to initiate orders and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate and manage projects with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Administer warranty and repair programs for pre-engineered metal building projects.
  • Ensure timely billing and collection of repair and warranty charges.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in drafting, project management, or construction management preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pre-engineered metal building construction.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
