Job Title: Radiology Technician II Lead

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician II Lead to join our team at our 445+ bed acute care hospital in central Houston.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of radiology technicians in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring efficient department operations.
  • Supervise scheduling, coordinate workloads, and assign personnel to meet daily work requirements.
  • Perform exams as indicated by policy and procedures, and make recommendations for changes in protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a resource to staff, directing them to complete work assignments and promoting teamwork.
  • Assume interim management responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Manager and/or Director.

  • Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions.
  • Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines.
