Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Physician Assistant to join our team at Radiology Partners Gulf Coast. As a key member of our radiology team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our radiologists in the management of patients for both the hospital and practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists in the performance of minor procedures and provide direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and rounding.
  • Schedule patients for procedures, including pre-authorizations and coordination with other facilities as needed.
  • Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose, and treat illnesses and/or injuries.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes.
  • Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patients.
  • Educate patients on their medical care.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas preferred.
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
  • Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
  • One year Physician Assistant experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
