  • State Requirement: Valid Medical Radiographer license or Temporary Medical Radiographer as specified by Nebraska Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure - 18 months post-issuance, non-renewable.
  • Required: Registration or eligibility for registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or RCIS certification.
  • Essential: BLS certification.

Position Overview:
  • The Cardiovascular Technologist is tasked with executing a variety of technical procedures during diverse cardiovascular interventions, adhering to organizational protocols and established professional care standards.
  • The Interventional Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting specialized radiographic examinations in alignment with organizational policies and professional standards, ensuring accountability for the quality of imaging.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of an accredited two-year program for Cardiovascular Technicians or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists is necessary.
  • Graduation from an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology is required.
Work Schedule:
  • Availability for some weekends and holidays, including on-call shifts.
Additional Information:
  • Position may consider candidates with backgrounds as Cardiac Cath Lab Technologists or Radiologic Technologists.
  • The role necessitates the application of specialized knowledge, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills to ensure the acquisition of precise diagnostic images.
