Job Summary

Delphinus Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician III to join our team. As an Electronics Technician III, you will be responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary engineering functions, performing technical liaison with Delphinus staff, customers, and technical authorities, and supporting repair and installation teams as needed to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Sonar Dome Pressurization System overhaul and training (SPOT) for U.S. Navy Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) components.
  • Assess the material readiness of the Sonar Dome Pressurization System (SDPS), overhaul the system, repair and or replace selected system components, train ship's force in system operation, conduct valve maintenance and installation methods, and perform system evaluation, testing, alignment, and calibration as required.
  • Revise and prepare HM&E logistics documentation, including Technical Manuals, Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRCs), parts lists, etc.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to equipment technical assistance teams in the assessment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of shipboard fire detection equipment.
Requirements
  • Knowledgeable on the operation and troubleshooting process of the SDPS.
  • Qualified divers must have past experience executing Sonar Dome dives in order to conduct safe and successful Ship's Force training, inspections, and repair when in the sonar dome space under hyperbaric conditions.
  • One must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
  • Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one will be required. U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to travel as required.
