  • Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards or specifications
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment
  • Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products
  • Investigate or test vendors' or competitors' products
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications
  • Investigate customer or public complaints to determine the nature and extent of problems
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps
  • Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects
  • Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment
  • Estimate labor, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Three (3) years of professional experience with design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment
  • Seven (7) years of professional experience with design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing/integration of electrical and electronic equipment, to include Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR
  • Three (3) years of technical experience in support of Navy or Coast Guard C4ISR projects
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Technical expertise in relevant systems, methodologies, and tools applicable to the industry
  • Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion of projects
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, develop creative solutions, and apply sound judgment to resolve challenges
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, for effectively conveying information to stakeholders and team members
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, processes, and deliverables while adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and industry requirements
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints
  • Experience in creating, reviewing, and validating documentation, proposals, and reports to ensure alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust strategies and processes in response to changing project demands and environments
