Job Title: DD Behavioral Health Clinician

At KVC Health Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DD Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our Department of Developmental Disabilities, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities by completing behavioral analysis documents and plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized behavioral support plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external case professionals to analyze current progress and provide ongoing recommendations for behavioral support.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with KVC colleagues, consulting on individual cases.
  • Provide support to Shared Living Specialists as behavioral situations arise for participants.
  • Regularly communicate billable units for Consultative Assessment to the Director of DD Services to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field that supports licensure as a Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska.
  • Two plus years of experience in Developmental Disabilities, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, and/or Mental Health Assessment and Treatment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs, and Outlook email.
  • Experience with state-mandated Therap database preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with State-mandated Therap database.
  • Provision of services to individuals with disabilities.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP).
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Valid Auto Insurance.
