Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at KVC Health Systems. As a key member of our Developmental Disabilities department, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities by completing behavioral analysis documents and plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and develop personalized plans to support individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external case professionals to analyze current progress and provide ongoing recommendations for behavioral support.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with KVC colleagues, consulting on individual cases as needed.
  • Provide support to Shared Living Specialists as behavioral situations arise for participants.
  • Regularly communicate billable units for Consultative Assessment to the Director of DD Services to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field that supports licensure as a Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska.
  • Two plus years of experience in Developmental Disabilities, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, and/or Mental Health Assessment and Treatment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs, and Outlook email.
  • Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with State mandated Therap database.
  • Provision of services to individuals with disabilities.
