Job Title: DD Behavioral Health Clinician

At KVC Health Systems, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DD Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by conducting behavioral analysis documents and plans, as well as providing resources and recommendations for participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and develop personalized plans to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external case professionals to analyze current progress and provide ongoing recommendations for behavioral support.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with KVC colleagues, consulting on individual cases and providing clinical oversight.
  • Provide support to Shared Living Specialists as behavioral situations arise for participants.
  • Regularly communicate billable units for Consultative Assessment to the Director of DD Services to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field that supports licensure as a Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska.
  • Two plus years of experience in Developmental Disabilities, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, and/or Mental Health Assessment and Treatment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs, and Outlook email.
  • Experience with state-mandated Therap database preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with State-mandated Therap database.
  • Provision of services to individuals with disabilities.
Certifications/Licenses:
  • Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP).
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Valid Auto Insurance.
