Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Bloomfield, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating numerically controlled machine tools to perform complex machining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machine tools, including 2-axis lathes and 3-axis mills, to perform complex machining operations.
  • Work from programs, operation sheets, and machine setup instructions to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Self-sufficient in material clamping methods, machine adjustments/offsets, and console settings.
  • Independently troubleshoot and resolve basic programming errors, such as taper, chatter, and chip control.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Machining Certificate is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in use of shop math and GD&T constraints.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
